The members and their families have enjoyed the beauty of the club and it surroundings throughout its century of existence. Many large social events and family gatherings are held, including the Debutant Ball, which has introduced many prominent young ladies into society. The clubhouse is an ideal place for numerous occasions such as weddings, receptions, dinner parties, family celebrations, holiday parties, bowling and business functions. The Outing Club is referred to as the grande dame of clubs in this area. The club is a 110-year-old traditional member-owned private club. In addition to the clubhouse, club facilities include a swimming pool constructed in 1997, 2 lighted tennis courts, North patio, scenic front lawn, various food venues and a four lane automatic bowling alley.
